Eternal Sovereign Lord, we know you are not pleased when humanity seeks to attack each other. Your word tells us that you are angry at evil every day.
We have read, watched and experienced the horrors that the Black and racialized community have experienced. Including subtle and obvious acts of extreme physical, mental, and emotional abuse just because of the color of their skin.
We recognize the irreparable generational damage caused.
We acknowledge the permanence of unjust and unequal social structures that prevail in our communities.
We agree that the stain of social injustice and systemic racism has never been far from their doorstep.
We ask that you unite families to stand for equity and justice, that will hold all members of the community accountable.
May the BIPOC communities not be silenced, until peace is heard in their hearts again .
Father we pray that you would bring your healing touch to those who have been victimized just because of who they are.
We seek dignity, inclusion, and strive for accountability for the diverse voices that have for too long been silenced.
You are a good God and mindful of the love and care the BIPOC family are in need of.
