Being fed and led by the provocation of the Holy Spirit
BFTC desires, aligned with Godly principles to serve and meet our communities needs. Offering fellowship to all, becoming a welcome door of dignity, equity, accountability and restoration.
The wisdom in Isaiah 61 is grounded in a benevolent call to social justice; to do good for others has always remained the clarion call to the “whosoever asks” given freely expecting nothing in return.
We believe the overarching gift brings good news, repairs broken hearts.
For those who mourn it will be a return to comfort instead of anxiety, depression and sadness as they are embraced in the victory of Jesus and the joy of the everlasting.
God has brought us together as His children at Broadview Faith Temple Church, to honour His Son Jesus Christ and to further His purposes by seeking and serving the lost in the Eastern core of the City of Toronto. We come together to pray and seek the Masters face. Our desire is that we may be living reproductions in our generation of our Lord Jesus Christ and to share the unsearchable riches of Christ with a suffering world.
We acknowledge the land we are meeting on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
